Textures Bespoke is a premium bespoke catering studio based in President Park, Midrand, serving Greater Gauteng (Johannesburg, Sandton, Pretoria, Centurion, Midrand and the East and West Rand) and the Western Cape (Cape Town, the Atlantic Seaboard and the Cape Winelands), with travel availability for destination events along the Garden Route and into KwaZulu-Natal. We bring our own commercial mobile kitchen, chef brigade and front-of-house team to every event, so we can serve the same multi-course experience at a wine estate, an office park, a private home or a farm wedding.

Menu pricing at a glance

We offer eight per-person menu packages, each fully customisable: Canapés Menu R395 (5 canapés + 2 desserts), Canapés & Welcome Drinks R495 (50+ guests), Standard Menu R695 (buffet with Champagne Tower), Braai Menu R795 (live grilling, spit braai, Champagne Tower), Plated Menu R895 (refined three-course service with optional wagyu, venison, seabass and quail upgrades), Premium Menu R995 (largest curated buffet), Floating Menu Lite R995 (6 floating dishes, live sushi bar) and Floating Menu Full R1,200 (all floating dishes, oysters, charcuterie, sushi, dessert station). Fully bespoke menus are designed on request. Vegan, vegetarian, halal-friendly, gluten-free, dairy-free and allergy-aware adaptations are built into every menu at no extra charge.

How a quote is built

Every quote you receive shows four line items so you can see exactly what you are paying for. Food / menu total: your chosen package multiplied by your confirmed guest count. Service staffing: R130 per waiter per hour, with team size set by service style, 1 waiter per 10 guests on buffet (12-hour minimum), 1 per 5 on plated or floating (8-hour minimum), 1 per 20 on canapés (6-hour minimum). Waiter counts always round up. Table setup fee: a flat R4,500 covering signature props (fire liquid and dry ice), customised station styling and fresh floral accents. Delivery / call-out fee: R2,500 within Greater Gauteng, R10,500 for 80–150 km outside Gauteng, R20,500 for 151–250 km, R28,500 for 251–350 km, and a bespoke quote above 350 km (including Cape Town, the Garden Route and KZN). Outside Gauteng, the call-out is always all-inclusive. It covers transport, logistics and team accommodation, and is never invoiced again afterwards.

Booking, deposits and lead times

A 50% non-refundable deposit on confirmation secures your date. A further 25% is due 20 days before the event, and the final 25% is due 10 days before. Final guest count is locked four weeks before the event. All catering service ends at 22:00 to allow our team to pack down. For peak-season weddings (October to April) in Cape Town and Johannesburg, book 6 to 12 months ahead. Corporate, year-end and private dinners typically need 4 to 8 weeks of lead time, but we accept short-notice bookings whenever the diary allows.
