How the pricing works
The per-person price you see on each menu above covers the food and the kitchen team that cooks it. Three other line items are calculated separately on every quote: the waiters who serve your guests, a flat table setup fee, and a delivery or call-out fee based on your venue location.
Waiter staffing: how many you need and what it costs
Waiters are the front-of-house team that greets your guests, serves the courses, refills drinks and clears plates. They are billed separately from the chefs at R130 per waiter per hour. The number of waiters and the shift length depend on the service style you have chosen, because some service styles need more attention per guest than others:
- •Buffet: 1 waiter per 10 guests, 12-hour minimum shift (covers full setup, service and pack-down on a longer-format event).
- •Plated: 1 waiter per 5 guests, 8-hour minimum (more attentive, course-by-course service).
- •Floating: 1 waiter per 5 guests, 8-hour minimum (same as plated, equally service-intensive).
- •Canapés: 1 waiter per 20 guests, 6-hour minimum.
Waiter counts always round up. 1.2 waiters becomes 2.
Table setup fee: flat R4,500
A single flat fee of R4,500 per event (not per guest) covers our signature styled-table-and-station experience: signature props (fire liquid and dry ice), customised station arrangements styled to suit your theme, and fresh floral accents to enhance the overall ambience.
Delivery and call-out
We are based in President Park, Midrand. Within Greater Gauteng (Johannesburg, Sandton, Pretoria, Centurion, Midrand and surrounding suburbs) the delivery fee is a flat R2,500. Beyond Gauteng, the call-out is all-inclusive: it covers transport, logistics and our team's accommodation, billed as a single figure with no separate invoices afterwards.
- 80–150 km: R10,500 (all-inclusive).
- 151–250 km: R20,500 (all-inclusive).
- 251–350 km: R28,500 (all-inclusive).
- Above 350 km (Cape Town, Plett, KwaZulu-Natal, etc.): bespoke travel quote.
Worked example: a 100-guest plated wedding in Sandton
To make this concrete, here is how a quote for a 100-guest plated wedding at a Sandton venue would be itemised:

Plated needs 1 waiter per 5 guests, so 100 / 5 = 20 waiters at the 8-hour minimum. The figures here are an example only. We send your real itemised quote within one business day of receiving your brief.
How booking and payment works
A 50% non-refundable deposit secures your date. A further 25% is due 20 days before the event, and the final 25% is due 10 days before. Final guest count is locked four weeks before the event. Service ends at 22:00 to allow pack-down.
